WHAT IS COCOA SYNERGY?

Cocoa synergy is predicated on the fact that all of our cocoa based products contain the precious bioflavonoids, especially flavones, that work to keep the body healthy and performing optimally. However since there are many ways in which our cocoa products are produced, not all the products contain all of the flavonoids.
However when the different products are combined together, then all the benefits of all the polyphenols are realized by their recombination, albeit in different proportions.
For example some of our products are made by extraction of cocoa polyphenols by alcohol whilst others are done with water. Some use heat whilst others do not.
This results in different products having different aspects of the cocoa contained in them, though not necessarily all.
By combining the different products together, all the benefits of the whole cocoa can be realized.

This is best achieved by using all our cocoa and chocolate products together whenever possible.

Try making chocolate versions of some of your favorite recipes. It may be as simple as adding some cocoa powder or Cocoa Syrup to whatever you are creating or spicing it up with our Chocolate Pepper.

RECOMBINING THE PARTS

Liqueur and syrup: Our Esprit de Cacao, Cocoa Liqueur and our Chocolate bitters are made by alcohol extraction but our syrups are made with a water extraction process. By combining the liqueur with the syrup, you get not only a sweeter liqueur, suitable for cocktail mixing, but you also get all the bioflavonoids from both products, combined together again.
 

Syrup and chocolate for fudge: By recombining our cocoa syrup with our chocolate, you end up with a more solid fudge like consistency, containing all the goodness of both the cocoa nibs and the cocoa shells.
 

Cocoa flour and chocolate: Our cocoa ‘flour’ is made from specially treated cocoa beans only and so is completely gluten free and can be combined with our chocolate to yield a double chocolate product, that has even more of the health benefits of cocoa or chocolate alone.

Cocoa flour and cocoa liqueur: Or add Esprit de Cacao cocoa liqueur to our cocoa flour to make rich desserts with a big chocolate bang.
